Regulations/information clause for the speakers of the International Conference entitled:
"Challenges of Contemporary Publishing" organized by Lublin University of Technology

- Personal data of the speakers will be processed for documentation and promotion purposes, publication of photographs and film footage taken during the International Conference "Challenges of Contemporary Publishing". "Challenges of Contemporary Publishing", organized by Lublin University of Technology on 25-26.05.2023.
- Personal data obtained in the registration form will be processed on the basis:
a. Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR Regulation in connection with Polish Articles 2 and 11 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (as it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of public authority entrusted to the administrator in connection with the mission of the system of higher education and science in terms of education, scientific activity, shaping civic attitudes, as well as participation in social development and creation of an innovation-based economy);
b. Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR Regulation on the basis of your consent to the processing of personal data.
- Personal data may be disclosed to other entities authorized under applicable law and the relevant agreements concluded with the Lublin University of Technology, including those involved in the organization or operation of the conference.
- Conference participants data in the form of image, name, surname, IP address will be processed in the coverage of the conference on the Lublin University of Technology websites and social networking profiles until 30.06.2023, in situations provided by law may also be processed during the period necessary to determine and pursue any claims.
- You have the right:
a. to access your data and receive a copy of it;
b. to rectify (amend) your data if they are incorrect or outdated, as well as to erase them if the processing of your data is not carried out for the purpose of meeting an obligation arising from a provision of law or in the exercise of public authority;
c. to restrict processing of your personal data;
d. to object at any time for reasons connected with your particular situation, where the basis of processing is Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR;
e. withdraw consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing performed on the basis of this consent before its withdrawal, where the basis of the processing is your consent;
f. file a complaint to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (to the address of the Office for Personal Data Protection, 2 Stawki Street, 00-193 Warsaw).
This consent is not limited in time or territory.
